after they attacked you or broke into your home to make sure they won't get up while you look for things to tie them down, will you be liable once the cops show up? What if you stab them in the leg instead after they are already down to get a point across to not try breaking into your home?

but yeah enforcer but what if you break their arm in the bathroom but the bathroom ends up being one of those kinds with the handicapped bar things on the wall next to the toilet and they bump their head and accidentally their 24k gold medallion gets caught up in one of those emergency cord things that say emergency on it and it activates the switch and then an ambulance and police car and firetruck all arrive at the same time and you need to try and get away but there is some mayonnaise on the floor and its slippery and stuff? what do you do then?
