sure Tim, sure...
of course, i see what you mean.
guys,
that was the concept of combatives taught to various military organization. to provide basic concepts for self preservation and protection.
In reading about western martial arts, I came across several references to Savate, how it may have derived from asian MAs observed by french sailors, and that the original Savate's kicks (pre-"sporterized")were done very low and it was considered a brutal streetfighting art.
Still kind of is, they do kick high though. They also train in cane fighting, French: la Canne. As far as I know they may have even trained in some form of Western Wrestling. Becoming well-rounded fighters.

Man! it's like his opponents bodies have magnets that just attract kicks. He looks like he's taking a stroll on the beach when he's kicking these people, like it's the most normal thing in the world!
I cant tell if Mighty Mo just made a mistake and blocked low, or did Kao throw a fake low to high?

Awesome kick, it looks like Mo attempted to parry what he thought was going to be a low kick while throwing a big overhand right.
One little mistake.
Yeah, good call thats what i was thinking too :D
