I have reflected on my previous post and realized a few things (maybe I'll think more clearly when I'm in eleventh grade).

1- I'm not your student and neither is Jack V so- I have no right asking you "what you think of your student's maturity" because- this is the WORLD WIDE WEB and anyone (student or not, mature or not) can post here. I appologize.

2- several of the posters here (including you) have suggested I 'register' and ID (which would negate any one posting immature posts using MY name). and I have stubbornly refused to do so- keeping myself wide open for ghost posters to post an aray of things pretending to be me. (or Jack).

3- the deal is off with the whole respect thing.
I will continue to disrespect everyone, everywhere, including my mother because of the abuse I've received at the fingers of other posters here (all because I WILL NOT spend 45 seconds to REGISTER AN ID).

Why are you ganging up on a kid?

I read the kung fu san soo colum and now I have read this one and it seems that the students of this school are acting without respect. People who are posting on your web site should be treated as guest. I think the students who post rude remarks should be suspended or reprimanded.

i would think the Sensei would have something to say about his student's behavior. Respectfully, Duke.

check that Email INBOX and copy the 'activation key' then... paste it into the 'enter activation key' when you try to post the first time.

apprentice, and Jack V, and all the other folks who can't figure it out, here is how to register an ID:

- click on 'register'
- type in the user name (your real name, or not)
- make up a password
- enter 'full name' (which will be the name displayed on your posts).
- enter your Email address.

Then, magically, an Email is sent to the Email address you entered confirming you are set up.

That's it.

If you wish to enter extra information for your profile. come back to the site and click 'edit profile' (but here's the rub- if you change your Email address- and 'activation key' gets sent to that Email address which you'll need to enter to effect the change. It's a safety measure to keep folks from hijacking each other's names.) *by the way apprentice, after your snotty post above, I typed in your new ID and password to see what would happen and that's when the system showed me the Email address the activation code was sent to.

Yes Duke, I am a student of Tim's. Do you ask because you think I’ve been less than respectful? I came home at 2:30am a little inebriated and decided to peek at the site, thinking I'd finally helped out apprentice, who can't figure this out for himself, only to see a snide post from him. So... I resorted to ALL CAPS! (Which seemed to be a big hit with the kid... he can't stop laughing).

Why should folks register?
-trollers suck
-if registered, only YOU can post using your ID
-no one can post pretending to be you.
-you can edit your profile to show a bit about your history and philosophy and/or picture so folks can understand a bit more about you.
