That is true, "if you get hit in the right place you just go out". It is a little known fact that western boxing has DIM MAK!! I will--for the first time ever--revel the sworn secrets of western boxing dim mak--at no charge!! Here is the list and the times to use them:

Point: the chin
When to use: when the moon is in the 10th Earthly Stem or when opponent is tired and or not looking
Point: the solar plexes
When to use: when the Great Yang Star crosses the the 9th Celestial Stem or when the opponent lets his elbows float up
Point: the right side of the opponent's body, just below the rib cage
When to use: all the time against southpaws!

I hope I have added something to the dim mak discussion.

take care,
Brian

steve read,

The points used in dim mak are no different from pressure or acupuncture points.

BASEBALL
There are kids /young adults who have died when hit playing baseball. It boils down to x lbs/sq in where certain pressure application at certain anatomical points cause something to happen (yusually cardiovascular related) when in the presence of the shock, surprise, the conditioning of the person, prior health problems and the surface area hit.
Obviously with a healthy person, the same effect will not happen. The points are no more secret since we all possess the same body surface area. Some are more susciptible to the effects of applied pressure to a specific point or area.

BK's analogy is a good one. The chin is not necessarily a dim mak "point' but when the chin is hit the neck arches backward and the vertebrae at back is impacted enough to land a sufficient blow to dislocate something. This may not initially happen, but over time, the continued blows can damage the brain, as u know.

Qui, BK's post mentions the knockout blow to the chin which snaps the head back. In this fight you mention, could the hit to the forehead have caused Eastman's head to do this, rather than it having been an accidental strike to some "dim mak" point?

Koojoo,
Mmmmm. so you want to try my five flying rice finger technique in exchange for your Lion dim mak.

I will take that challenge and revenge my brother.

I was not doubting your lion dim mak story.

Sure thing Rich, and afterwards I'll show you my knee to the groin dim mak. It usually makes people double over. Usually only works on men, not as effective on women.

Thanks Stan,

relates to what I was told about some point specific strikes dislodging something off the walls of arteries which can cause heart attacks

In police circles, carotid restraints are often banned due to the number of unintentional deaths. The damage involved seemed to occur more when the hold was released. It is believed the effect was due to the return of blood pressure to vessels which were not healthy.

I've practiced Dim-Mak on animals for years with wonderful results. I'm too kindhearted and caring to apply it to a human (although I'm tempted from time to time)- That's the kind of control one gains through hard work and introspection.

Next.

What a champion

Poison hand exists, however, you do not have to concentrate on acupuncture points nor some super secret concoction. You don't even have to study from some esoteric Master of Poison Hand and Dim-mak methods. In fact its so easy to train all you need is various size sand bags. You can use fine sand to gravel in your bags, I perfer gravel. With this simple implement you'll be on your way.

I'm not sure where some of you get your info. from, but dim-mak is real and as real as it comes and goes. I had been in a situation that I had to defend myself, and I used some of what I was taught and it worked just great. But,I don't recommend you go out and buy some book and try to use what you learn from that. Find someone who knows and learn the hard way just like I did. Maybe you find out the truth for yourself if dim-mak works or not. It worked for me and almost put me in jail for 10 years. Be careful when you use this stuff.

what was the situation and how did you use it?

for rcmp123,it must stand for "Ridiculous,Crap my

i know about dim mak,
one of the point i know is called "the HEAD"
have you heard of it?
the other one is "the body",it is the area between the head and the legs.
i know i'm blowing your mind aren't I?
there is one secret spot i'm going to share with you guys, but it must be kept between us,
there is a point under the floating ribs on the right side,it's called the liver you stupid kennedy!(i guess you are the only one that is not dead yet,i'm still waiting!!!)
there is a last point below the hips, it's called the legs!there is many ways to hit them, the secret is "hit it as hard as you can!
"but don't tell anyone".
well there is all the secrets, i hope all the great
masters of asia won't come after me!!!!(bring IT)
for all of you lunatics that think you are gonna use dim on me you are more than welcome to try,but there is a technique called,"keep it real" that i like to use.
MMA ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(don't get me wrong i think there is points on the body where there is nerves, veins and organs,
but is it realistic to hit them in a real situation????????????????

By robert on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 - 11:01 am: Edit Post

no, i think it is more realistic to hit points on the body that are less sensitive to pain, sounds much more effective.

I know a great dim mak move. Its called the rear naked choke. When I apply it, people pass out. When I had it applied on me, I passed out. Another great devestating dim mak move is called the straight arm bar. If you are not careful and pull too hard (which is easy to do), you can break your opponents elbow and cause excrutiating pain and disability. I do not mind sharing these devestating dim mak moves with anybody. I know several more of these moves. If anybody is willing to learn, please stop by the Shen Wu Academy. Tim is an expert at dim mak, and I am learning a lot from him.
