some intersting and some not so interesting

im not too sure about these though, ive seen a few chi blasts in here. there is an interesting one where the guy does a running front tuck and lands in a kneeling punch position and the guy jumps back like he was hit by an invisible force.

here it is http://people.cc.jyu.fi/~jollonen/Taido/tentai-chuuzenten-duki.mpeg

it almost looks believable. but im a doop

Holy Crap, I think every pretend martial arts guy in the world of pretend martial arts should stop what ever pretend marital art they are doing now and start this one!!! This has to be the awesomest collection of crap ever assembled! It seems like the took the worst, flashiest crap from every bad martial art and merged it into one super piece of crap!! This is so bad it's awesome! They were hakama, the have those super sweet, and awesomely useless long karate stances, while holding their hands in odd places, and using way to much stress to keep the posture, they do acrobatics!! They've taken some of the worse fancy fantasy kicks in the world, and they seem to have pseudo sparring competitions!!! Oh, lets not forget the ambiguous name tai do, body art!! I'm beside myself, if you're into things that look cool, and are completely useless (the way most people train martial arts any ways) this is the perfect art form! I love it, infact I bet for a low low fee I could be a black belt tomorrow - costly ranks would be the icing on the cake, oh, I hope it costs alot!

it looks a bit like Capoeira but with all the pleasure taken out.

Is it Japanese revenge for BJJ?!

this is the sort of fantasy that I usually bemoan of the chinese.

that is not to say that I am not going to go out and immediately start practicing front handspring/front walkovers into kicks or reverse punch combos.

Ee-gads,..I pride myself in making a buddy look good in a demo, but please. Issueing an electromagnetic pulse can happen but does anyone need to tumble to get it going. You could psych-out a superstitous opponent by doing this but a risk is a risk.I've known people to fake the fantastic and get home safely because of it.
