Its classic karate.

He's an awesome fighter, impressive in all aspects.
he really has absolutely fantastic basics. he can kick with the right and left, he can telegraph, he can punch, he can grapple, he can throw.

his style is well rounded, i enjoyed watching his fights, he has some major victories under his belt... he is like a hawk, the guy has alot of patience and calculation in his technique. pretty cool stuff. good to see classic styles coming back.

His background is greatly eclectic!

His foundation is "modified" karate. Next, he trained wrestling in Japan (with A. Anoki) and wrestling with the old (RAW) team..."Real American Wrestling", then he trained Sumo and became the LHWT champ of Brazil in sumo and lastly, he is a BJJ blackbelt.

He still trains and teaches Karate.

To 'telegraph' used to be used to mean that you made some movement which revealed you were about to do something, such as 'He telegraphs his punchs'. It was not a good thing. Robert, what do you mean by it?
