Dear Tim,
Do you know where to find detailed information about China's national martial art full contact tournaments that were held in 1920's and later? I've heard so many stories about famous fighters but couldn't piece up the whole picture. When you were in Taiwan, did you read any official reports of these tournaments?

I've also heard and read alot of stories about the old tournaments in the first half of the last century. I have never seen anything I'd consider "official" either. In Taiwan, it is generally accepted that the famous wrestler, Chang Dong Sheng won his division a couple times in the larger (national) tournaments, but as for other reliable information, I don't have any.
Maybe someone else that posts here can provide links?
