Has anyone trained with any of these gentlemen?

I cant seem to find to much info on Vince Black.

George Xu on the other hand, I had an accidental private lesson with.

Long story short, I was training in this park. Every now and then some guy would be there totally pwning on people with what looked like shock waves. I thought of all the people in the park doing MA he looked dangerous and serious. So I ask this other tai chi peep, "Hey you know that guy?" He says " Oh thats George " I am like "Cool"

So I walk near by and Stand while he finishes teaching someone else. Bear in mind folks, I have no idea who this guy is.

I walk up and say "Hey there it looks like you do tai chi or hsing yi, do you fight? Do you practice fighting?" We get into the classic push hands on guard. He almost totals me with this Pao Chuan out of nowhere. I am like "how are you doing what you are doing?" He shows me on the spot how he coils these shock waves from his pelvis. It was pretty nifty. So, I ask him, "Who are you?" He says "George Xu" We shake hands and I bow and tell him thanks. Then later that day I looked him on the internet and I am like "Doh!!!"



Stories, anecdotes?

Thanks for the little nugget of wisdom Bob2,

George never once used the word chi or the word spiral in the 15 minutes or so we talked.
There is some funky stuff on some BBs and seminar stories out there about Xu's chi this and chi that, but he never said it to me.

J. alexander - was Henry Look in a war, ahhhh that would explain that look of his, did he have reconstructive surgery on his face. they did not do a good job on the lips, you can tell them that from me.

Henry Look did serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the WWII or Korean era(can not recall at this moment).

I was training once with Vince Black in Virginia. He wanted to sticks to hit together to keep time, but could only find a single 2" dowel rod in the DoJo closet. I was amazed when he promptly snapped the 2" dowel across knee and started hitting the broken halves together in to keep time. I couldn't break a 1 and 5/8" dowel.
