Tim's Discussion Board: Martial Artist - Miscellaneous: Ultimate Fighter 2: Archive through November 04, 2005

Has anyone been watching the Ultimate Fighter 2 show? The big live finale is Saturday Nov 5th. The last two regular episodes are tonight and tomorrow night.

It has been pretty good. Hopefully the next installment will include a weight class for Tim so we can all see ShenWu beat the crap out of everyone :-)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Richard, but my plan is to have one of my students take all the punishment, then owe me 75% of their winnings because I'm their manager.

I didn't realise that there would be so much crying in the show. While I was a little disappointed here and there, it certainly seems to have it's ups, too.

Great idea Tim... Meynard would be perfect for it :-)

yeah, too bad i cant kick your as*es over the internet either. be thankful for that.

i enjoy watching ufc and stuff like that, but i think that internal martial arts hold a deeper "insight" into the martial arts.

robert to tai chi bob is father to son.

robert to ansari is pimp to h*e.

robert to jason muffin struck is master to disciple.

now how you like them apples.

don't sigh too heavily kenneth, this is a forum on the subject of 'reality tv'. That's right, we're talking Spike TV, not monasticism.

Diego Sanchez looked a bit Monastic coming out on his UFC depute..did you see that?
UFC Unleased last week
and did a great job at #170
I am now a fan of his

yeah i watched a match with him in it last night, it was very impressive. i watched a couple of those reality/ufc shows with him in it and he was doing yoga and meditation and all that stuff, i thought that was funny since all of the other guys in the house were drinking beer and socializing while this guy is in his room doing yoga postures. it is interesting to see how he combines that with his knowledge of wrestling. yes he did seem a little monastic, but i think thats what happens when you start to cross those boundaries of enlightenment.
and the guy was like 22 or something. i have one year to catch up.:-)

Hey Robert howz it?
Are you thinking of Luke "the Jedi"-"skywalker' from Ultimate Fighter #2?
He was doing all that stuff, and reading comic books and drawing-good illistrater too. He is an excellent fighter.
very monkish, I like his nerdy, monk persona very "tight"
anyway
I was talking about Diego the winner of Ultimate Fighter #1 (I did not watch the first series)
He came out in a very pious prayer like pose walking to the ring.
Both are good fighter and I am a fan of both because they fight cool.
I am not really a fan of the esoteric nebulous that surrounds many of the arts.
