I ran into an instructor in a coffee shop. He had printed up some flyers for his classess. Within a month of working at the coffee shop he quit and was instructing martial arts- not only paying his bills but had money left over for fun.

He used the coffee shop (READ: a place with lots of interesting people looking for interesting things to do) as a canvasing tool for recruiting students.

For those of you who instruct martial arts and are looking for extra money on the side or to do it full time, perhaps working in a coffee shop or book store or teacing an accredited course at a college MAY just pay off!
