I am a native Taiwanese who has lived in America for 5 years. This summer I plan on going back to Taiwan for few months and study Hsing-I. I was able to contact Chen Pan-Ling's second son Chen Yun-Ching, who agreed to teach me. My question is, have you ever seen/heard/met Chen or his students? How is his Hsing-I? And since I am interested in the martil aspect of the art, is he a good fighter?

I have never met Chen nor seen his Xing Yi Quan.
I believe Alan Pittman studied with someone in Chen Pan Ling's lineage, you might want to contact him.

There is a dvd out by Chen Yun Ching doing Hsing I and Tai Chi. I found it on plumpub.
