Fatboy,

I have done it. And no, I won't tell you how it is done. And no a boxer rolling with the punch won't do it. Maybe you can figure out why but I doubt it. How do I know that he did it with a violent twist? Because it is the most likely manner and it is logical that, if I know the technique he also knew it. I learned in Taiwan. He was from Taiwan. Where did you learn?

By Fatboy (Unregistered Guest) on Friday, April 28, 2006 - 01:33 am: Edit Post

It's not the same technique Wang used, any fool would know that, unless your talking twisting into the punch, but I heard from a very good source in lineage with Wangs that it was his belly was very soft, absorbtion of fist, going very hard in reverse breathing in a millisecond and that Wang would also subtly move body forward, maybe your twisting movement might work if the punch lands either side of the belly and you turn into the fist, but the fact of the matter is its not the same technique Wang used, although I'm not saying he did'nt know it

You also put your self on quite a pedestal i.e. if "I" know the technique, he also knew it.

Wang became famous in Japan from the wrist breaking incident, and the guy was an accomplished Karateka with a lot of conditioning... why did we not hear loads of stories of wrist breaking from belly strikes if it's such an accomplished technique in "your" school, answer and MOST PROBABLE, because it's not. Wang was a master at it, now your saying its quite a common skill, commonplace on YOUR SCHOOL Bawaahahahaahahah !!!!!

I guess we can just sum this up by saying "size matters!"

I didn't study Shaolin White Crane. I studied Hsing I/ Pa Kua. My teacher was Hsu Hong Chi he didn't teach Shaolin White Crane. He was also a master of uncommon skill and one of the few who (at that time) was willing to teach foreigners the real deal and not hold back the most advanced techniques. He was frequently criticized by his peers for doing this while, at the same time, being admired for his knowledge and skill. He did teach this technique to those students who were allowed to study neikung. Only his best students were allowed to undertake the neikung training. I have been involved in the study/teaching of Tang Shou Tao (Hsu Lao Shi's approach to Hsing I/Pa Kua) for 36+ years now. I certainly don't know everything. Far from it but I do know a bit more than most and a good bit less than some.

Fatboy,

You don't know body mechanics. You can punch full power into a brick wall and not break the wrist, just the hand. To break the wrist you have to roll it over. At the time Wang accomplished his feat in Japan the Chinese boxers did not tell their secrets to outsiders and many still don't. I can assure you that Wang intentionally injured the karateka's wrist. I said if I know the technique he also knew it. Doesn't it stand to reason that someone who was more advanced than me would know what I know. I will say that I know what I know from training and experience and you seem to know what you read. You don't read very well and you are a legend in your own mind. Since you pretend to know the answer to everything it is clear that you think you are far more advanced than anyone else. This is also made clear by the fact that you attack anyone who doesn't agree with your assessment of a situation. I offered an evaluation of Wang's achievement in Japan from experience. If it doesn't meet your approval too bad. How many years have you studied the MA? What styles have you studied? Since you are so advanced in the IA I would suggest you simply put the wrist breaking technique to the test yourself. Stick your belly out there and let someone punch it a few times. Use one technique one time and the other the next. You can then tell us which one works the best. Of course with your level of superiority in the development of neikung you will probably need several different people to do the punching as I'm sure you will break a wrist each time someone punches you.

Bob,

Good evaluation of Fatboy.

Ozzy Dave,

Almost missed your question while trying to figure out what planet Fatboy is from. The answer is that my training included a series of exercises designed to build internal strength. These exercises were done daily. They had a pattern that had to be followed without fail. There was a specific set that was practiced for a period before adding another particular exercise. Then the whole set was practiced daily. These were done in private so they could not be observed. They were considered very secret. Once these exercises were complete we then used a specific custom made device to strike every surface of the legs, arms, trunk, and body in a very distinct pattern. You could not vary from the pattern in any way. This second set could be done in the open. All of this was done daily. The secret set done in a back room followed by the other set out in the main training room. Generally we worked in pairs so that we would have a partner to do the second part of the exercises.

So, I guess the answer to your question would be that the whole routine was a combination of purely internal training followed by hardening. There were other rules that had to be observed while undergoing this training. No booze and no sex. Generally each time we underwent this training it was for a minimum of four months. I have since done this training a number of times. Each time resulted in the body becoming stronger. The level of conditioning is maintained in between with the more conventional approaches to chikung/neikung i.e. breathing sets, etc.

Before I was allowed to undertake this training I promised Hsu Lao Shi that I would never pass this training along to anyone other than my sons, or my best students and only if I thought they were trustworthy and the type who would not misuse the MA. I guess I should add that if you couldn't take a lot of pain you wouldn't complete the training.

I hope I have answered your question satisfactorily.

Charlie thinks he is the Magus of Java, or Taiwan or whatever, next thing you know he'll be telling us to ingest mercury, in search of the golden elixer, the true path of meditation, and to astrally project his spirt out of the third eye, straight into heaven, sneak past the guards of Lao Tsu chambers, and steal the true secrets of Dao straight from under old Lao Tsu's nose, and on returning to his body form discover and live the true path to authentic immortality, martial virtue and perfection...
Bawhahahahahah !!!!!

What Planet am I on Charlie ? You and I both know you believe in all of the above, and your just jealous I revealled the secrets of your top level training... Bawahahahahaha !!!!!!

Fatboy,

You know nothing of the internal arts beyond what you might have read. You continue to make this clear in your postings. I have come to the conclusion that you just want to argue so regardless of the post you just take the other side. You are the kind of individual that no one wants to teach. In your mind you know everything and no one is going to tell you anything different. You don't know the secrets of my training as I haven't revealed them to you. I also note that you don't answer questions regarding your own training. What style? How long? Is that because you haven't had any?

It is a waste of time to converse with you. As to the laughter, you're the most laughable thing I've seen in years. In short, you're a joke.

Hey Charlie or is it Sifu?
that was irrational of you... not to mention unsportsmanlike!!!

I have trained since I was 4 years old, in many many different styles, I've seen things you wouldn't believe, fought with Men with fire in their souls, I have glimmered in the dark taking out retribution for the meek, all those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain!!!

Hey Rip Van Winkle keep taking the Ibupropen !! Yea it's a bitch when the Qiqong don't work anymore, but you could never admit to taking Ibupropen for that bad back could ya !!

taiwan,
you use a custom made device to hit your body???
how is that going to help you in a fight?
you know you are only going to hit yourself as hard as you can stand!!!
but your opponent is going to hit you as hard as he CAN!!!
get that in your head! it's still gonna HURT!
and why do you have to write so DAWM MUCH!!!
your stuff is not that great, and we don't want to read pages of it!!?
ps.FaTBOY,the guys with fire in their eyes,
they didn't want to fight you!
they wanted to take the boy in you!

Hey Daousty
When I was young I was called Fatboy, but now I am a honed physical specimen of perfection, well not quite but I'm pretty lean and tough enough, I take Martial Arts and myself with a pinch of salt cause I know therese always someone out there better than me, but I also know in certain arenas I can use "strategy" to beat those better than me in "physical" Martial Arts, which I have done. I once knocked out a much bigger dude than me just using some goading and a door, pulling it shut it at the right moment, thats strategy, I know I will be ripped for saying that, but it's what happened and in an unusual way I proud of the technique and stategy used !!!

p.s. did I say fire in their eyes, I mean't fire in their souls, shiite I've set my self up for another rebuttal !!!

By Fatboy (Unregistered Guest) on Monday, May 01, 2006 - 03:30 am: Edit Post

Daousty, I already have made a fortune doing what I love, at the moment your just a wannabe, my advice to you if you ever want to get anywhere in UFC is to desist on internet disusssion groups and spend more time training...
don't be a gobshitte!!!

As for Kung Fu Grandad, I know your old and insecure and all that, hence the regression to school like traits in old age, i.e. lets all gang up on Fatboy, Kung Fu Grandad then shows mega lack of integrity by teaming up with Daousty!!! Oh my how easy the fickle change, like changing opionions blowing in the wind!!!

Oh and it's called the Octagon fool !!!
