Abdominal exercises

since you provided such a great exercise i was wondering if you could suggest also an abdominal exercise that would compliment it, trying to lose my gut, lol.

one more thing... what exactly is the dantien?

body fat is not really related to abdominal muscular hypertrophy.

until you change your diet/caloric balance, you'll just be a fat guy hiding some well developed muscles.

thats me, the short guy with a beer belly who is incredibly strong and powerful, lol.

speaking of abdominals,

i noticed that alot of the power generation in most throwing techniques comes from the abdomen involving lots of the obliques also, especially in twisting throws and foot trips,

do you think that pulling the oblique muscles (a muscle pull) can effect the body and its alignment
mostly in the hips and lower spine?

All major muscle groups connect to the pelvis. What does that tell you? Hence why core training in MA in so important. Heck, in ANY sport actually!

i think i threw my pelvis out of place doing a foot sweep, havent been the same since goldernit
