Based out of South Carolina I guess, I got my bell in less than 48hrs of placing my order (I'm in Richmond). Shop around, that is fast.

Features a nice handle dimension, good diameter, finish is lightly rough- not smooth, but not as course as Power-systems. On a scale of one to ten, 1 being laquer and 9 being Power Systems or Power Max, Dragon Door falling at a nice 4-5, this is like a 3.5-4.5.

The base is covered with a rubber plate, that screws out. As I teach at a gym, and use hardwood floors, this is a very nice feature too, but you are not married to it.

I have one of the Muscle Driver bells, a gray one, and I'm thinking of getting more. They're perfectly good as far as I can see; a kettlebell is just a cannonball on a handle, so there's not too many issues of features, reliability etc. If the handle's not rough, it isn't rusty or something, and it has that rubber plate on the bottom, there's not much left to want.

The Muscle Driver line also come in a lot of different weights, which is nice.

The gray ones are cheap; the black ones do seem more attractive, but you have to pay more, just for it to be prettier, so it's kind of hard to justify.
If you really want pretty ones, Dragon Door has a gorgeous Russian Red at outrageous prices, and that guy DiLuglio in Rhode Island has a line of color coded ones (the different weights have unique colors).
